DR.
AHMAD BASSEL SHUGHOURY
 Dr.
Shughoury is joining Digestive Medicine Associates on October 4, 2004.
He has just finished his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University
of Wisconsin. He earned his medical degree from the University of Aleppo,
Syria in 1989. Dr. Shughoury completed his internship and residency
in Internal Medicine at State University of New York at Buffalo in 1995.
He practiced Internal Medicine for 6 years in New York prior to his
Gastroenterology fellowship. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine
and eligible for the Gastroenterology Board later this year. Dr. Shughoury
will be seeing office patients in Merriville and Portage and will be
on staff at St. Mary Medical Center, St. Anthony Medical Center, and
The Methodist Hospitals.
